Delivery terms and data protection
General information about the online store
E-commerce (www.designbykieto.fi) products are designed and sold by Design by KIETO Oy (business ID: 3152765-7).
The prices of all products include VAT.
We reserve the right to change prices, shipping costs and delivery times
Ordering and payment confirmation
Products are ordered through the Shopify e-commerce system at: www.designbykieto.fi.
A confirmation of the order will be sent by e-mail stating the price of the order, the delivery costs, the products ordered and the value added tax. To receive an order confirmation, an email address is required at the time of placing an order.
For questions related to the order, contact the webshop administrator first. Contact details can be found in the payment confirmation.
Payment methods
The ordered products and the resulting shipping costs are paid at the time of the order. We use Shopify online store and Paytrail's payment options.
Delivery methods and time
The delivery time of the products is about 7 working days. We aim to deliver the products as quickly as possible after the order has arrived if the ordered product is available. The product (s) is delivered as a package for which a tracking code is found.
Exchange-claim and return terms
All products have a 14 - day Exchange and return policy in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
The right to exchange and return only applies to unused and available for sale in the original package.
Notification of the return/complaint of the order must be made by notifying the address as soon as possible. info@designbykieto.fi.
State at least the following things in your message:

- Order date / date of receipt

The replacement and replacement costs and practices of the product are agreed upon personally with the returner after the product has been inspected.

- Purpose of processing personal data
Personal data is collected for the management of customer relationships in the design by Kieto e-shop and for delivery and payment arrangements and marketing of products purchased through the e-shop
- Data content of the register
The data stored in the register are: the person's name, contact information (e-mail address, address), information on ordered products and billing information.
- Regular sources of information
The information stored in the register is usually obtained from the customer via the online order form.
- Regular disclosure and transfer of data outside the EU or EEA
Data is not disclosed to other parties as a rule.
- Principles of register protection
The controller ensures that stored data, server access rights and other data critical to the security of personal data are treated confidentially and only by the employees whose job description includes it.
- Right of inspection and right to request correction of data
Every person in the Register has the right to check their data stored in the register and to require the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of incomplete information.
If the person wishes to check the data stored about him or her or to request rectification of the data, the request must be signed in writing to the controller.
The controller may, if necessary, ask the applicant to prove his or her identity.
The controller will respond to the customer within the time period laid down in the EU Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).
- Other rights related to the processing of personal data
A person in the Register has the right to request the deletion of personal data concerning him or her from the register (the"right to be forgotten").
Data subjects also have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as restricting the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests must be sent in writing to the controller.
The controller may, if necessary, ask the applicant to prove his or her identity.
The controller will respond to the customer within the time period laid down in the EU Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).

Our site uses cookies implemented by Shopify, Google Analytics and Facebook, which allow us to monitor e.g. user traffic and site behaviour that enable us to improve the user experience and our service.
